October is National Pork Month
National Pork Month occurs each year in the month of October. When first originated, it was to mark the month where pork was traditionally sent to market. Now that pork is processed throughout the year, we use this month to thank the farmers that produce the pork we consume. It is also used to tell the story of the pork industry. Pork producers across the country strive to provide families a quality product they can be proud to serve at their dinner table. At Thrushwood Farms, we are honored to be able to provide our customers with a variety of pork products that can be used in a multitude of dishes that you can serve to your family and friends.
In honor of National Pork Month, Thrushwood Farms will be working with the Knox County Pork Producers to give away four $100 gift certificates that can be used at Thrushwood Farms to purchase your favorite pork products. In order to qualify for the gift certificate, you need to visit our retail store during business hours and fill out the form. We will choose one winner at the close of business on the following days:
October 8, 2016
October 15, 2016
October 22, 2016
October 29, 2016
We will contact the winners each week for them to claim their prize.
The Knox County Pork Producers have provided us with several cards that have numerous pork recipes on them. When you're registering to win, make sure you pick up whichever ones are your favorite!
